SPIRIT concerns itself with the immaterial aspects of the visual world. Long exposures and intentional camera movements translate energy into line, blur and glow. Fire becomes a release, matter converting into atmosphere. Birds appear as fleeting vectors, registering passage and departure. Stained glass and DJ sets dissolve into color and rhythm. Matter becomes both defamiliarized and revealed as sacred, echoing Lippke’s belief that all material carries a spiritual charge.
